CNS Coverage
Information on reimbursement of physiotherapy sessions
It is also possible to receive treatment without a prescription, but the sessions will then be entirely at your own expense.
Coverage requirements
A medical prescription is mandatory for CNS to cover physiotherapy sessions.
The prescription must be validated by CNS services. Physiotherapists in Luxembourg submit the validation request.
The prescription issued by my doctor must specify the type of treatment, the number of sessions and their frequency, as well as the prescribed treatment.
The prescription must be sent to CNS by the physiotherapist within one month of its date.
Payment system
Third-party payment: In general, services are covered directly by health insurance through the third-party payment system: you therefore pay the physiotherapist only the part you are responsible for.
Travel costs: The physiotherapist's travel costs, for example to your home, can be covered if the doctor indicates on the prescription that it is medically necessary for the physiotherapist to travel to your home to provide care.
